Drama for Young Learners

In this module, you learn how to make use of drama with young learners. This module focuses an introduction to plays and drama, selection and adaptation of plays, theatrical and drama techniques, using drama techniques and activities in the classroom and so on. Later, you will be expected to devise activities to develop children’s multiple intelligences through children’s drama performance. By the end of the module, you will have developed a perspective about the uses of drama activities in terms of creating an environment where children feel relaxed enough to take risks. Teacher educators will give you some feedback that will be helpful in effectively exploiting drama with your students. In the end, each participant has to take a mini test about the module.
