Oral and Written Corrective Feedback

Oral and Written Corrective Feedback

In this module, you learn how to correct your students’ written or oral production in the classroom. This module focuses on all the dimensions of oral and written corrective feedback, discussing the specific techniques, strategies and methodologies that are pervasively acknowledged to be supporting second language acquisition. Solid techniques of oral and written corrective feedback are analysed in terms of learners’ age, developmental characteristics, types and sources of oral errors as well as stages of the lesson. By the end of the module, you will have developed a perspective about how to approach students’ errors. Teacher educators will give you some feedback that will be helpful in getting students to correct themselves. In the end, each participant has to take a mini test about the module.
