Teaching Young Learners

In this module, you learn how to make effective pedagogical choices as an English teacher in a young-learner class. To this end, the module offers insights concerning the characteristics of young learners, their learning and studying dispositions as well as the ideal teaching ecology along with the ideal teacher identity for kids. Storytelling, arts and crafts activities, creative drama, games, and competitions as pedagogical strategies are covered in detail. In addition to session discussions, participants will be able to prepare and present lesson plans which are provided with constructive feedback. In the end, each participant has to take a mini test about the module.
